Doing bodywork for over 10 years has enabled me to incorporate a wide variety of techniques into my work, making every session a unique and personal experience.
The healing arts have always been my passion. I attended my first massage class in 1990 in India and have since explored many resources in order to continue to learn and enrich my background with other philosophies and techniques.
I graduated from the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in
1998. Since then I have studied many energetic healing
modalities and combined them with my practical training in anatomy, pathology,
structural integration and medical Massage. This gives me the ability to
intuitively discover the hidden pain centers in the body address structural
issues as well as remove energetic Blockages to facilitate exhilarated healing.
After attending the La Stone Hot Stone Massage training in
1992 I started to develop my own technique creating a session that not only
facilitates deep states of relaxation but also addresses structural issues to
create a truly individual experience.
From 2003 to 2007 I taught this technique in numerous
workshops at the Diamond Light School of massage.
As a result of my diversity in training and experience I feel
I have developed a unique style that gives me the ability to tailor each
session to the individual needs of my clients.
My training includes Swedish, Deep Tissue, Medical Massage,
Cranio Sacral, Lomi Lomi, Structural Integration,Shiatsu,
Spa treatments, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage,
Healing & Energy Work (Matrix Energetics ).
Over the years I have acquired extensive knowledge, working for various health spa's, chiropractors and doctors. This has enabled me to gain a lot of experience with acute & chronic injuries, specifically related to car accidents, carpal tunnel syndrome, back injuries and migraines among many others
I am also a certified LaStone Therapist and I teach
Hot Stone Massage classes.
